Xbox announces contest to win Furry Sonic the Hedgehog controllers

Xbox has created a very limited edition Xbox Series S console that comes with two Sonic-themed furry controllers. The company is giving away the console in conjunction with Paramount Pictures, which means one lucky fan will have the chance to win a truly unique system based on the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie.

A blog post on Xbox Wire announced the contest, and the console itself features a gold ring around the speaker with a graphic of Sonic and Knuckles printed next to it, which is also depicted in the two colorful fluffy gamepads. blue and red respectively.

Anyone with a Twitter account can enter the contest by retweeting the official Xbox message (below) and including #XboxSonic2Sweepstakes. Alternatively, Xbox users in the US can redeem their Microsoft Points for entries, but the company has yet to share details on how this will work.

Sonic 2 hits theaters on April 8 and continues to show the extent of its crossover of movies and games. Indeed, one of his most popular posters to date is a tribute to the original Sonic 2 box art from the 1992 Sega Genesis game.

The latest trailer for the film was also released recently, showing Ben Schwartz as Sonic, Idris Elba as Knuckles, and Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik.

In our 7/10 review of the first film, IGN said, “Sonic’s first foray into live-action is a fast-paced ride that will sound entertaining for fans and kids alike.”
