If you own an Xbox controller, take care of it, as shopping for a replacement controller could be very difficult in the weeks and months to come.
As VGC reports(Opens in a new window)all-color Xbox wireless controllers are extremely hard to find right now, or non-existent in the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia and as IGN reports(Opens in a new window), the United States too. For example, the Xbox Core Wireless Controller(Opens in a new window) on Amazon US is currently available to order in a few colors, but they won’t ship until late July or early August.
Microsoft has confirmed there is a global shortage, “We know it may be difficult to find Xbox Wireless Controllers at this time due to supply disruptions,” a Microsoft spokesperson told VGC, “We are working as quickly as possible with our manufacturing and retail partners to improve Please check availability with your local dealer.”

In the US, your best bet to find one is directly from the Microsoft Store(Opens in a new window) or best buy(Opens in a new window). However, other retailers’ stocks are running out quickly, so the remaining stocks of these online stores will run out quickly. Demand will also increase now that Microsoft has confirmed it is struggling to manufacture more.
