(Ghent, Belgium) HYBRID Software, the provider of innovative software solutions for packaging, labels and printing, will present its products as well as the technologies of the sister companies of Hybrid Software Group (Global Graphics Software, iC3D, ColorLogic, Xitron and Meteor Inkjet). Booth N763 will showcase a wide range of packaging, digital and commercial printing applications at Printing United Expo, October 18-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
One of the highlights of the HYBRID Software booth will be the 3D visualization throughout the prepress process offered by the recently acquired iC3D. iC3D’s software suite offers the industry’s largest library of modeling templates for digital packaging and POP design and prototyping. iC3D allows users to generate live 3D virtual mockups on the fly, as well as in-store and outdoor viewing.
Highlights of HYBRID software will include:
• PACKZ 8, the native PDF editor of HYBRID software: complex layered illustrations can be viewed simultaneously in color and wireframe mode. Smart flattening professionally handles the interactions between spot colors and transparency as well as press gamut conversion. The Pactions programmed toolset with action lists reduces the time required for the operator to modify, approve and print a new packaging design.
• CLOUDFLOW workflow management, controlled from a web browser, includes a wide range of production workflow components as well as a suite of plug-ins that facilitate interaction from the desktop or from Adobe Illustrator and PACKZ.
• STEPZ 8, an interactive software package based on award-winning PACKZ technology, enables the preparation and execution of repeat and variable data jobs for high-speed digital label printing.
• Variable Data Printing (VDP), winner of the InterTech Technical Award, highlights ease of use and capabilities for variable data preparation and file execution, while offering customers the use of any device from open output they need.
“Printing United is a comprehensive printing event and, while HYBRID Software has focused on packaging our products, combined with technologies from our sister company, offers solutions for a wide variety of applications. What is also interesting is that our technologies are modular. You don’t need to invest in a full suite of solutions, just easily connect to each other, as well as a wide range of partner solutions, e.g. MIS/ERP,” says Mike Agness, Executive Vice President of HYBRID Software, Americas. “We look forward to showing visitors why there is probably a productive Hybrid Software Group solution for just about any printing installation.”
